Restorative Iyengar Yoga is a therapeutic, deeply relaxing practice that uses props, blankets, bolsters, blocks, and chairs, to fully support the body in poses held for extended periods (2-5+ minutes) while still honoring the importance of alignment and posture. This practice focuses on calming the nervous system, releasing chronic tension, keeping the body safe, and cultivating inward awareness, making it ideal for stress relief, injury recovery, and rejuvenation.
